Ability Groups
Training sessions cater for a wide range of people by providing separate ability group classes that run concurrently. These groups are graded by bib colour.
Blue Group
Beginner
Classes are designed to be low intensity so you can work at a relatively easy pace enabling you to progress your fitness level gradually. You may already be fit but just want a light training session.
Ideal For:
- Complete beginners to fitness
- Returning after a break from exercise
- Those wanting a lighter session
- Anyone gradually building fitness
Red Group
Intermediate
Classes are run at a higher intensity pushing you further so that you can have a harder workout than blue but still not reaching the maximum rate that you can train at.
Ideal For:
- Regular exercisers seeking more challenge
- Members who have progressed from blue
- Those with a reasonable fitness base
- Anyone ready to push harder
Green Group
Advanced
Classes are of the highest intensity pushing you further than you have ever been pushed but still being coached at the highest level by our instructors. This class enables you to get fit quickly or if you are already fit, get that extra bit out of yourself that you did not think you had.
Ideal For:
- Experienced fitness enthusiasts
- Those seeking maximum intensity
- Members preparing for competitions
- Anyone wanting elite-level coaching
Which Group Should I Join?
Don't worry about choosing the right group. Our instructors will assess you when you arrive and recommend the most appropriate group for you. Most newcomers start in the Blues and progress from there.
